Welcome

We invite all Carers in Pembrokeshire to come along and discover what a support we are to each other, what lovely outings we have, and how we can recieve the help we need.

Ubiquitous Pembrokeshire Carers (UPC) is a group for all unpaid carers, young or old, looking after friends or relatives with any sort of incapacity.

We have joined together with one objective - to be a self financing group where possible, having short breaks from our loved ones, as a respite.

To discuss any mutual problems, and invite knowledge speakers to tell us about their experiences, which may help us with our future roll, or to take our minds off current labours.

To decide amongst ourselves what we would like to do next, such as walks, visits to country houses, 10 pin bowling, lunches or shopping trips.

Members are asked to put forward suggestions and everyone joins in to discuss the viability and potential of the event.

We already have a register of about 40 people and are growing with constant enquiries from various sources.
